Breaking news:
A number of bomb squad units responded to a citizen's report of a suspicious package in Griffith Park somewhere in the vicinity of the Hollywood Sign at approximately noon today.
Preliminary reports are that the suspicious, bomb-like package was.... a geocache! You can expect another 50 similar reports in the near future as there are at least that many geocaches and letterboxes in the 4200+ acre park.
For those wondering about Park Rangers, they were first on-scene. So yes Virginia, there are still a few Rangers in Griffith Park.
