The Foothills Incident Unified Command has ordered mandatory evacuations tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9, due to the risk of debris flows in the Station Fire burn area.
Evacuations have been ordered for areas of La Crescenta, La Canada Flintridge, and Acton. Affected residents are being notified through Alert LA County and by door-to-door notification by LA County Sheriff’s deputies. Evacuations must be completed by 10 a.m. Affected residents and residents of flood-prone areas are urged not to leave vehicles or trash bins in the street.
The evacuations have been ordered as a safety precaution following predictions of rainfall Tuesday and Wednesday. Residents are strongly urged to comply with the evacuation orders.
