That's because GE just acquired a thin films company ... forgot the name ... and they need to create the buzz for their product.
Wish DWP would stop stealing funds for local installations. They froze the program on April 9th.
I'm still waiting for the No on Measure B people to deliver their own solar plan for the ballot box. After it was defeated, one of their leaders told me they were "coming up with something better." Still looking forward to that...
Petra, the article also includes other forecasts for growth in the solar sector, not just a rosy assessment from GE. GE leads the world in wind turbines as opposed to solar panels (which, I think, is Sunpower).
