About time.

How about a little news from Griffith Park?

Yesterday a 90 year old male hiker was rescued from the Mt. Hollywood area of the park when he became disoriented due to what was probably heat exhaustion and fell, hitting his head. Park rangers were summoned and an LAFD helicopter got the gentleman to the hospital in time.

We'd like to remind everyone who uses the park to please pay careful attention to weather conditions and your personal condition before you hike.  Griffith may be a city park, but most of it is really an urban wilderness and must be treated with respect before you venture into it.

Stay safe!
